 February 24th, 2022 Introduction I did my project on gameday operations, and the ins-and-outs of gameday operations at HPU basketball.  I interviewed two "experts", Kaitlyn Sheldon and Brooke Moran, both of whom work for gameday operations at High Point University.  I also asked two random people if they thought that they could do the gameday ops job themselves. February 23rd, 2022 Introduction I am a sports media major at HPU in the sports fellows program, so obviously I wanted to cover something involving sports. The topic I chose is how game day operations and the behind the scenes of sports. I chose to interview my girlfriend Brooke Moran, who has worked in gameday operations since she was in high school and is the lead student supervisor in gameday operations here at HPU. I consider her an expert because of her experience and her current position. I will continue asking people what they know about gameday operations. Blog 2 Expert My expert is Brooke Moran, who will be a senior at High Point University next year.  She is the top student supervisor for HPU Game Operations, which helps set up and tear down for all of HPU's Divison 1 athletic events. Editing Using the multitrack editor I was able to cut out a part of the interview where Brooke forgot what she was going to say by using the razor tool.  I also used the waveform editor to eliminate a part where my phone shook. Radio Lab Arc My 2-minute audio story will follow the Radio Lab arc by me choosing a topic that I don't know much about, then doing research.  It is also important that I choose an interesting topic, because when I ask people their thoughts on it to follow the arc, I want them to be invested in the answer they are giving.  How Much Does The Great Wall of China Weigh? My theme was how much does the Great Wall of China weigh? Most people know the Wall for its length, but not many, if any, know how much it weighs. I referred to this credible blog for my information on the Wall. Background Noises I made sure that my background noises were present, but not obnoxious.  For example there is a bit of outdoor ambiance, or perhaps you can hear the fountains near the communications building. My Experience Editing I've taken multiple classes on editing with audition so it was relatively quick and painless for me.  I enjoyed cutting the clips together.
